Istorijski Časopis welcomes submissions of original research articles, review essays, and scholarly discussions within the fields of history, social sciences, and the humanities. Submissions must align with the journal’s scope and demonstrate scholarly rigor, originality, and relevance.
1. Manuscript Categories
- Original Research Articles: Full-length articles presenting original findings (5,000–10,000 words, including notes and references).
- Review Essays: Critical overviews of recent literature in a specific field (2,000–5,000 words).
- Scholarly Discussions: Shorter contributions addressing ongoing debates, conceptual issues, or new methodologies (1,000–3,000 words).
2. Language
- Submissions must be written in English. Authors are responsible for ensuring language accuracy before submission.
3. Formatting and Style
- Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).
- Use 12-point Times New Roman, double-spaced, with 2.5 cm (1 inch) margins.
- Include a title, abstract (150–250 words), and 5–7 keywords.
- Follow the Chicago Manual of Style (author-date or notes and bibliography) for citations and references.
- All images, tables, and figures must be clearly labeled and submitted as separate files with appropriate captions.
4. Peer Review Process
- All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process.
- Authors must remove all identifying information from the manuscript and include a separate title page with names , affiliations, contact information, and a brief author biography (up to 100 words).
